Person of the Year Award

The Chamber Person of the Year is the most prestigious recognition award that the Loudon County Chamber and it's Board of Director's can bestow upon a member.

The recipient exemplifies:

Civic Awareness

Demonstrates Leadership

Service for the Betterment of our Community

Criteria

  1. Nominee or the nominee's business must be a member in good standing of the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce.

  2. Nominee should be an exceptional person who has made outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Loudon County, it's businesses, and citizens.

  3. Nominee must have achieved success of a high degree of creative, original actions and initiatives within their profession.

  4. Nominee must exhibit on-going, consistent commitment and involvement to the betterment of the quality of life within the community.

  5. Nominee must have been an exemplary, active volunteer in civic, religious or other groups committed to some phase of human or social welfare.

  6. Past recipients are not eligible.

Business of the Year

The Business of the Year Award is presented to a business organization that demonstrates extraordinary leadership and community engagement in efforts to improve the live of the citizens of Loudon County.

The recipient exemplifies:

On-Going, consistent commitment to betterment of the quality of life within our Community

Criteria

  1. Business must be a member in good standing of the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce.

  2. Nominee must support civic groups committed to some phase of human or social welfare.

  3. The organization must demonstrate extraordinary leadership.

  4. An executive management staff member must be available to accept the award at the awards Gala.

  5. Nominations will be accepted from the general public and Chamber members, but all nominators must identify themselves.

  6. Recipient is selected through popular voting on colliervillechamber.com.

  7. No business may be awarded in consecutive years.

  8. Nominee must have demonstrated one of more of the following characteristics:

  • Revenue growth and / or jobs growth.

  • Innovative products or services.

  • Provides exemplary customer service.

  • Encourages and provides professional development of staff.

  • Volunteers in the Loudon County community.

Volunteer of the Year

The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding participation and leadership in Loudon County Chamber of Commerce activities.

The recipient exemplifies:

Support and Dedication to the projects and activities of the Chamber

Criteria

  1. Nominee or the nominee's business must be a member in good standing of the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce.

  2. Nominee should be a Chamber volunteer who has gone above and beyond the norm in service and dedication to the Chamber.

  3. Qualified nominees have made contributions in one or more of the following areas: Time donated, leadership, membership development, or other support of the Chamber's mission.

Non-profit of the Year

The Chamber is proud to recognize the success of the non-profit organizations in our community through our Non-Profit of the Year Award.

The recipient exemplifies:

Best practices in nonprofit management and professional development resulting in a profound difference in the lives of the citizens of Loudon County.

Criteria

  1. Nominee has made a meaningful achievement in the past 12 months that has impacted Loudon County or the citizens of Loudon County.

  2. Nominee develops and fosters the virtues and skills of civic engagement and social responsibilities within our community.

  3. Nominee maintains a responsible and rewarding workplace environment.

  4. Organization's conduct must be above reproach regarding ethics, quality, service, and the development of it's human resources.

  5. Organization must be a member in good standing of the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce.

  6. Nominations will be accepted from the general public and Chamber members, but all nominators must identify themselves.

  7. No organization may be awarded in consecutive years.
